1. Who we are

Vissla is operated by IKONS GROUP AB, Sweden. IKONS GROUP AB is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. Contact: hello@vissla.app.

2. What data we collect and why

  • Scan details — company name, website URL, city, country, business category and main service, used to run the visibility scan and produce your report (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • Contact data — your email address, used to deliver your report, create your account and provide support (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • Account credentials — login details for your account (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • Usage and device data — IP address, device identifiers and telemetry about how the service is used, used for security, fraud prevention and product improvement (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • Support messages — correspondence with our team (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • Marketing — if you opt in, we may send product news by email (legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Payment data is collected and processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record; we do not store your card details.

3. Who we share data with

  • Service providers and subprocessors that help us run the service (hosting, database, analytics, support tooling);
  • Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where necessary;
  • Authorities where required by law.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data outside the EU/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, scan and account data while your account is active, and order records as required by accounting law. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month. To exercise your rights, email hello@vissla.app.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls and row-level isolation of data in our systems.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for sign-in and security. If we add analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and you can manage your preferences at any time.
